WWII US Army 687th Field Artillery Battalion DI by Meyer

This is a World War II distinctive insignia for the United States 687th Field Artillery Battalion. The DI is a multi-colored crest and reads CHI DURA VINCE (he who endures overcomes).

Circa World War II.

Approximately 1-1/8" in height 1-1/16" in width.

Copper-plated brass with enamel.

Vertical pin with come-under locking swivel catch.

N. S. MEYER INC. NEW YORK with raised maker's mark.
