This is a World War II submarine launch ribbon for the USS Toro SS-422, launched on August 23, 1944 at Portsmouth (NH) Naval Shipyard. The Toro earned two battle stars during two World War II war patrols.
VINTAGE:Circa 1944.
SIZE:Approximately 2-1/4 in width and 5-1/4" in length.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Printed silk.
