WWII Souvenir Submarine Launch Ribbon for the USS S-12

This is a souvenir ribbon for the launching of the USS S-12 from the Portsmouth Naval Ship Yard on August 4, 192The S-12 served most of her duty in the Panama Canal region. There is a typo on the ribbon: the launch date is shown as April 4 instead of August 4.

Circa World War II.

Approximately 5-3/16 in height and 2-1/4" in width.

Printed yellow silk.
