This is a distinctive insignia for the 6th Regiment, New York State Guard, a crest nicely painted in red, white and blue. Several small symbols are scattered over the crest, including an apple labeled 2.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 1-3/16" in height and 15/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Painted plastic.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical pin.
MARKINGS:None.
