ARTIFACT: This is a rare World War II 17th Regiment, New York State Guard DI (Division Insignia). It is ebroidered in BeVo weave, which is a machine woven process typically using reyon thread. The insignia has a ship in the top quadrant and a rising sun in the bottom, with a banner underneath that reads "ON GUARD

VINTAGE: Circa WWII

SIZE: Appr: 1-1/4" x 1-1/8"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: BeVo woven reyon

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): Light fraying, some dirtying, but is overall in Very Fine+ condition.
