ARTIFACT: This is a distinctive insignia in sterling silver for the New York State Guard 8th Regiment. The DI is a royal blue crest showing three light blue stars, two stripes and a logo of the interlocking letters NYG.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II era.

SIZE: 1-1/16" height and 15/16" width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold-plated brass with enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical safety pin.

MARKINGS: STERLING.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. REXL90 LDEX10/10 SDJX2/15

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): DI has some small spots of light wear.
