This is a 1930s distinctive insignia for the 4th Regiment New York State Guard. The DI is by Newcombe & Company of New York City and shows a windmill, the heads of two rulers and four rifles, all in gold.
VINTAGE:Circa 1930s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/4" in height and 1" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold-plated brass, enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical pin with come-under locking swivel catch.
