ARTIFACT: This is a 1930s distinctive insignia for the 4th Regiment New York State Guard. The DI is by Newcombe & Company of New York City and shows a windmill, the heads of two rulers and four rifles, all in gold.

VINTAGE: Circa 1930s.

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/4" in height and 1" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold-plated brass, enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with come-under locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS: H. R. NEWCOMBE & CO. N.Y.C.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months VACX03 LDEX7/12

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The DI shows some light wear and one spot of minor discoloration to the enamel.
