WWII Green Back Patch for US Army 9th Armored Division (aka "Phantom")

This is a World War II green back patch for United States Army 9th Armored Division, also known as Phantom. The patch is a tri-colored triangle bordered in green and shows a tank, a lightning bolt and the number Green back, Olive Drab Backed, O/D Back, OD Back, Greenback.

Circa World War II.

Approximately 3-1/2" in height x 3-7/8" in width.

Fully embroidered in cotton/silk thread.

To be sewn onto uniform.
