This is a World War II shoulder patch with a green back and border for the United States Army 1st Armored Division, nicknamed "Old Ironsides". The patch is a tri-colored triangle bordered in olive drab embroidery and shows a tank track, cannon, lightning bolt and the number 1.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 3-3/8" in height and 3-11/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Fully embroidered in cotton/silk threads.
ATTACHMENT:None.
MARKINGS:None.

CONDITION:7+ (Very Fine+): The patch shows some light to moderate wear.
