This is a World War II shoulder patch with a green back and border for the United States Army 24th Division. The patch is round and brightly colored and shows a taro leaf, which is foliage indigenous to Hawaii (the 24th was formed when the Hawaiian Division disbanded). Green back, Olive Drab Backed, O/D Back, OD Back, Greenback.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 2-5/16" in height and 2-7/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Fully embroidered in cotton/silk threads.
ATTACHMENT:None.
