ARTIFACT: This is a World War II shoulder patch with a green back and border for the United States Army 24th Division. The patch is round and brightly colored and shows a taro leaf, which is foliage indigenous to Hawaii (the 24th was formed when the Hawaiian Division disbanded). Green back, Olive Drab Backed, O/D Back, OD Back, Greenback.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 2-5/16" in height and 2-7/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Fully embroidered in cotton/silk threads.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. RBZ92 LCHX5/11

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The patch shows some light wear along its edge.
