WWII Green Back Lemon Top Patch for US Army 9th Armored Division (aka "Phantom")

This is a World War II lemon top shoulder patch with a green back and border for the United States Army 9th Armored Division, nicknamed "Phantom". The patch is a tri-colored triangle bordered in olive drab embroidery and shows a tank track, cannon, lightning bolt and the number Green back, Olive Drab Backed, O/D Back, OD Back, Greenback.

Circa World War II.

Approximately 3-1/4" in height and 3-1/2" in width.

Fully embroidered in cotton/silk threads.
