This is a sterling distinctive insignia for the United States Army Headquarters 50th Armored Division. This insignia shows a lion's head with diamonds about its throat against a tri-colored crest.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:1-1/8" height and 15/16" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold-plated sterling silver with red, white and blue enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical pin with come-under swivel locking catch.
MARKINGS:A. H. DONDERO INC. WASH. D.C. STERLING.
