ARTIFACT: This is a sterling silver World War II 318th Infantry Regiment, 80th Division, US Army DI (Division Insignia) or Unit Crest. This DI was made by Dandero Inc. out of Washington DC. The shield shaped insignia depicts three trees in the center, as well as a motto on a banner at the bottom which reads "OLD VIRGINIA NEVER TIRES".

VINTAGE: Circa WWII.

SIZE: Appr: 1-1/8" x 1-1/8".

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Enameled Sterling Silver

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with come under locking catch.

MARKINGS: "OLD VIRGINIA NEVER TIRES. A. H. DONDERO WASH DC. STERLING"

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): Light enamel damage and tarnish.
