This is a distinctive insignia for the United States Army Infantry School. The DI shows a hand holding a sword upright and reads TAKE IT AND FOLLOW ME.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 1-3/16" in height 7/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Sterling silver with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical pin with come-under locking swivel catch.
MARKINGS:STERLING.
