This is a World War II United States Army 345th Infantry Regiment distinctive insignia in sterling silver. The DI shows a crest bearing a fleur-de-lis and three blue rectangles and reads INVICTUS (unconquerable).
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/8" in height and 1-1/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Sterling silver with enamel, brass pin.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical pin with come-under locking swivel catch.
MARKINGS:STERLING.
