Description
This is a sterling distinctive insignia for the United States Army Headquarters 30th Infantry Division. This insignia shows a bust of Andrew Jackson against a hickory tree trunk and reads OLD HICKORY.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/4" in height x 1" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold-plated sterling silver with blue and brown enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical pin with come-under locking catch.
MARKINGS:A. H. DONDERO INC. WASH. D.C. STERLING and a PAT. number.

CONDITION:7- (Very Fine-): Insignia shows light wear and a small piece of enamel on tree has come away; pin is moderately corroded.
