This is a 1960s distinctive insignia for the United States Army Engineer Center and Fort Leonard Wood (Missouri) and the Engineering School. The DI has the engineering castle in relief at its center and a lamp of knowledge at its top and reads ESSAYONS (let us try).
VINTAGE:Circa 1960s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-5/16" in height and 1" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Two posts.
