ARTIFACT:

This is a circa 1930s distinctive insignia for the United States Army Cavalry School at Fort Riley, Kansas. The DI has a coppery hue and reads MOBILITATE VIGEMUS (We thrive by mobility).

VINTAGE:

Circa 1930s.

SIZE:

Approximately 1-3/16" in height and 7/8" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Gilt brass, enamel.

ATTACHMENT:

Vertical pin with come-under locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS:

None.

ITEM NOTES:

The DI you receive will either be the one pictured or one in very similar condition. This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months VFX13 LBHX3/13
