This is a distinctive insignia for an unidentified United States Engineer Battalion. The DI shows three rows of red spearheads with wavy edges against a silver background.
VINTAGE:Circa late 1950s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/16" in height 1" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Two posts (original clutch back pins broke off and the backing from a collar disc was soldered on).
MARKINGS:None.

CONDITION:7- (Very Fine-): The DI shows some light abrasions, a small chip in the enamel; original clutch back pins broke off and the backing from a collar disc was soldered on.
