ARTIFACT:

This is a 1950s distinctive insignia for the United States 102nd Engineer Battalion. The DI is a crest with a white lion rampant and a sword in its upper left-hand corner.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1950s.

SIZE:

Approximately 1-1/8" in height 1" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Plated brass with enamel.

ATTACHMENT:

Single screw post with disc backing.

MARKINGS:

None.

CONDITION:

8 (Excellent): The DI shows only light wear.
