This is a distinctive insignia for the United States Army Training Center at Fort Leonard, Missouri. The DI is an open diamond with a downward pointing sword through its center and reads VICTORY THROUGH SKILL.
VINTAGE:Circa 1960s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/8" in height 1-1/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Two posts with clutch-back catches.
MARKINGS:N.S. MEYER INC. NEW YORK 22M and maker's mark.
