This is a distinctive insignia for the United States Army Medical Department Activity at Fort Hood, Texas. The DI is a scales holding water at the center of a white star and reads CARE AND CONCERN.
VINTAGE:Circa 1960s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/4" in height 1-1/4" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Two posts.
MARKINGS:S-21 MADE IN U.S.A.
