This is a distinctive insignia for the United States Army 101st Infantry Regiment in a pin-back style. The DI is a silver crest with red and blue enameling and reads SEMPER PARATAS (always ready).
VINTAGE:Circa 1950s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/4" in height and 7/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass with enameled areas.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical pin with come-under locking swivel catch.
MARKINGS:Patent number on pin.

CONDITION:8 (Excellent-): The DI has only some light wear and tarnish.
