This is a 1930s distinctive insignia for the United States Army 101st Infantry Regiment. The DI is a silver crest with red and blue enameling and reads SEMPER PARATAS (always ready).
VINTAGE:Circa 1930s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/4" in height and 13/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass with enameled areas.
ATTACHMENT:Single screw post with disc backing and stabilization pin.
MARKINGS:None.
ITEM NOTES:The DI you receive will either be this one or one in very similar condition. This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAL90 LBDX10/11
CONDITION:8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The DI shows some light abrasions and tarnish; all enamel is intact.
