This is a 1930s distinctive insignia for the United States Army 5th Infantry Regiment. The DI shows seven cannons on a shield with a raised arm above clutching a bunch of arrows. The DI reads I'LL TRY, SIR.
VINTAGE:Circa 1930s.
SIZE:Approximately 1" in height and 3/4" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass with enameled areas.
ATTACHMENT:Single screw post with disc backing.
MARKINGS:None.

CONDITION:8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The DI shows some light wear and tarnish with some very small spots of light discoloration and abrasion to the enamel.
