This is a large 1930s distinctive insignia for the United States Army 5th Infantry Regiment by Meyer. The DI shows seven cannons on a shield with a raised arm above clutching a bunch of arrows. The DI reads I'LL TRY, SIR.
VINTAGE:Circa 1930s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-5/16" in height and 1-1/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass with enameled areas.
ATTACHMENT:Single screw post with disc backing and stabilization posts.
MARKINGS:N.S. MEYER NEW YORK.

CONDITION:7+ (Very Fine+): The DI has only some small spots of light wear and oxidation and an overall tarnish.
