1930s US Army 21st Infantry Regiment DI by Meyer

This is a 1930s distinctive insignia for the United States Army 21st Infantry Regiment by Meyer. The DI is a crest showing a five-bastioned fort, a cedar tree and a snakeskin at the top. The DI reads DUTY along the bottom.

Circa 1930s.

Approximately 1-1/4" in height and 15/16" in width.

Plated brass with enameled areas.

Single screw post with disc backing, stabilization posts.

N.S. MEYER INC. NEW YORK and maker mark.
