This is a 1930s distinctive insignia for the United States Army 21st Infantry Regiment by Meyer. The DI is a crest showing a five-bastioned fort, a cedar tree and a snakeskin at the top. The DI reads DUTY along the bottom.
VINTAGE:Circa 1930s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/4" in height and 15/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass with enameled areas.
ATTACHMENT:Single screw post with disc backing, stabilization posts.
MARKINGS:N.S. MEYER INC. NEW YORK and maker mark.

CONDITION:7- (Very Fine-): The DI has some crazing to the enamel.
