US Army 2nd Infantry Regiment DI by Meyer

This is a distinctive insignia for the United States Army 2nd Infantry Regiment by Meyer. The DI is a shield bearing the Confederate flag's cross, a bolo, a missile, a star, a quiver with arrows and a five-bastioned fortress. The DI reads NOLI ME TANGERE (do not touch me).

Circa 1950s.

Approximately 1-1/8" in height and 1-1/16" in width.

Plated brass with enamel.

Vertical pin with come-under locking swivel catch.

N.S. MEYER INC. NEW YORK and maker mark.

The DI you receive will either be this one or one in very similar condition. This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAL90 LAJX10/11

7 (Very Fine): The DI shows some small areas of light wear and tarnish and a few small areas of enamel are missing.
