This is a distinctive insignia for the United States Army 10th Infantry Regiment by Meyer. The DI is a Roman numeral ten (X) upon a Roman sword in a scabbard. A circlet on the DI reads COURAGE AND FIDELITY MDCCCLV.
VINTAGE:Circa 1960s.
SIZE:Approximately 1" in height and 11/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Two posts.
MARKINGS:N.S. MEYER INC. NEW YORK MADE IN U.S.A. and crest with 22M.
