This is a 1930s distinctive insignia for the United States Army 180th Infantry Division. The DI shows three arrows forming a triangle with a native American man's profile above and reads TANAP NANAIYA KIA ALHTAIYAHA (ready in war and peace).
VINTAGE:Circa 1930s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-3/8" in height and 1-1/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass with enameled areas.
ATTACHMENT:Single screw post with disc backing and two stabilization posts.
MARKINGS:None.

CONDITION:8 (Excellent-): The DI shows only very light wear; all enamel is intact.
