This is a 1950s United States Army distinctive insignia for the 124th Infantry Regiment. The DI shows a sword and a cactus divided by two diagonal red banners with a fleur-de-lis at their intersection.
VINTAGE:Circa 1950s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/8" in height and 15/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical pin with come-under locking swivel catch.
MARKINGS:None.
ITEM NOTES:The DI you receive will either be this one or one in very similar condition. This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAL90 LAJX10/11
