This is a distinctive insignia for the United States Army 20th Infantry Regiment. The DI shows four muskets paired off and crossed to form the Roman numeral XX, or 20.
VINTAGE:Circa 1950s.
SIZE:Approximately 1" in height and 1-3/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical pin with come-under locking swivel catch.
MARKINGS:None.
ITEM NOTES:The DI you receive will either be this one or one in very similar condition.
