Description
This is a distinctive insignia for the United States Army 18th Infantry Regiment. The DI is a crest with several symbols, including two fleur-de-lis, two crossed arrows, a figure 8, a bolo and a saltire cross. The DI reads IN OMNIA PARATUS (in all things prepared).
VINTAGE:Circa 1950s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/4" in height and 1-5/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical pin with come-under locking swivel catch.
MARKINGS:None.
ITEM NOTES:The DI you receive will either be this one or one in very similar condition.

7+ (Very Fine+): The DI shows some light abrasions and there is some slight oxidation at the pin juncture.
