This is a distinctive insignia in sterling silver by Meyer for the United States Army 10th Field Artillery Battalion, whose motto is the "The Rock's Support". The DI is a red crest bearing two crossed cannons, a centaur and a gleaming white rock.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II era.
SIZE:1" height and 13/16" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold-plated sterling silver with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical pin with come-under swivel locking catch.
MARKINGS:STERLING with Meyer's maker's mark.

CONDITION:8- (Very Fine-Excellent): DI has some light wear and some spots of tarnish on reverse.
