This is a sterling silver distinctive insignia for the United States Army 27th Coastal Anti-Aircraft Artillery Battalion. The DI is a handsome red and white crest with a white star above a simple pine tree.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II era.
SIZE:1-1/8" height and 1" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Sterling silver with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical pin with come-under locking swivel catch.
MARKINGS:STERLING.
