US Army 79th Anti - Aircraft Artillery AAA Gun Battalion Sterling DI

This is a sterling distinctive insignia for the United States Army 79th Anti-Aircraft Artillery Gun Battalion. This insignia reads ALTO Y DERECHO (High and Straight) and shows a crest a white star, lightning bolt and a searchlight.

Circa World War II.

Approximately 1-3/16" in height x 1-1/16" in width.

Gold-plated sterling with red and white enamel.

Vertical pin with locking catch.
