This is a sterling silver distinctive insignia for the United States Army 601st Anti-Aircraft Artillery Battalion. The insignia shows a crest bearing a bird run through with a sword and reads CLIP THEIR WINGS.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:1-1/16" height and 7/8" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Sterling silver with red enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical pin with come-under locking swivel catch.
MARKINGS:STERLING and A. H. DONDERO INC. WASH. D.C. (partially cut off).

CONDITION:8 (Excellent-): Insignia shows very light abrasions and has wonderful coloring.
