ARTIFACT:

This is a scarce circa late 1920s police badge from Lincoln, Massachusetts. This badge has the seal of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts at its center and is topped by the arm of Miles Standish. The badge is in the "sunburst radiator" or "clamshell" style, and is numbered 10.

VINTAGE:

Circa late 1920s.

SIZE:

Approximately 2-15/16" in height and 2-1/8" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Nickel-plated brass.

ATTACHMENT:

Vertical kick pin with forked locking catch.
