This is a wonderful circa 1930s Police Lieutenant badge from Weymouth, Massachusetts. This is a custom die badge in a "clamshell" or "sunburst radiator" design. The badge has the town seal at its center.
VINTAGE:Circa 1930s.
SIZE:Approximately 2-15/16" in height and 2-1/4" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gilt brass, painted lettering.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical pin with forked locking catch.
