ARTIFACT:

1930's Springfield, Massachusetts Police Badge #22The badge features an ornate center depicting various city industry scenes inside a ring that reads: "SPRINGFIELD ORGANIZED A TOWN MAY 14, 1636 O. S. (?) **A CITY MAY 25, 185The badge is a "clamshell" or "sunburst radiator" style and reads: "POLICE" across the top and "SPRINGFIELD" along the bottom and is numbered '226' on reverse.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1930's.

SIZE:

Approximately 3" in height x 2-1/4" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Chrome plated Nickel.

ATTACHMENT:

Vertical kick pin with forked catch.

MARKINGS:

"226"
