ARTIFACT: Rare WWII United States Army Air Forces 23rd Fighter Group, 14th Air Force DI, Type 23 A5. Smaller size with darker blue background. CBI Theater – made in China, enamel detail showing the Group's emblem, a winged tiger.

VINTAGE: Circa WWII

SIZE: Approximately 1-7/16 x 1-1/16"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Enameled sterling

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal safety style pin.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a USAAF DI collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. CON-RLB-VAEJX15 LHGEX10/15

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The DI shows moderate wear, mostly to reverse, nearly all the enameled details remain bright and intact.
