ARTIFACT: Rare late WWII United States Army Air Forces 14th Air Force patch type distinctive insignia. This example is a rare flat variation showing a tiger in the center of a blue enameled disc, above the tiger, a white five pointed star displays a red center.

VINTAGE: Circa late WWII.

SIZE: Approximately 15/16" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Enameled brass.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with drop in locking catch.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a USAAF collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. CON-EDK-25-15 LAAEX11/15 SAAEX05/20 repVAAJX

CONDITION: 7- (Very Fine-): The DI shows moderate to heavy wear, much of the enamel and gilt details remain intact.
