ARTIFACT: Late WWII United States Army Air Forces CBI Theater patch type distinctive insignia, made in the US. The shield shaped DI depicts a Chinese sun and white five pointed star above red and white, vertical stripes below. The catch is missing on this example.

VINTAGE: Circa late WWII

SIZE: Approximately 1" x ¾"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Enameled brass

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with drop in locking catch, locking catch missing.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a USAAF collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. CON-EDK-25-15 LBEX11/15 HldBEX12/15 SBEX2/16

CONDITION: 7- (Very Fine-): The DI shows moderate to heavy wear, much of the enamel and gilt details remain intact.
