WWII Bullion United States AAF Shoulder Patch made in CBI Theater

This is a World War II United States Army Air Force shoulder patch from the China-India-Burma theater. The patch was hand-embroidered with bullion threads and sequins in either China or India. The patch is a badge shape and depicts a sun and a star on a field of blue above five vertical stripes.

Circa WWII.

3-1/2" height and 2-1/12" width.

Felt and cotton patch with hand-embroidered bullion threading and muslin backing.

7- (Very Fine-): Patch has overall tarnish on bullion and some of the sequins are bent, but is otherwise in good shape.
