This is a World War II United States Army Air Force shoulder patch from the China-India-Burma theater. The patch is a badge shape and depicts a sun and a star in bullion thread on a field of blue above five vertical stripes.
VINTAGE:Circa WWII.
SIZE:3-3/8" height and 2-9/16" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Felt and cotton patch with hand-embroidered bullion; cotton backing.

CONDITION:5+ (Fine-): All bullion thread is intact and moderately tarnished. Some thread is missing along edge and stripes have faded from original coloring.
