ARTIFACT: This is a World War II United States Army Air Forces shoulder patch in bullion. The patch is a striped crest showing a sun and star at its top and the sun's center is outlined in blue.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 3-3/8" in height and 2-3/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Velvet embroidered in bullion and silk/cotton threads with muslin backing.

ATTACHMENT: N/A.

MARKINGS: N/A.

CONDITION: 6+ (Fine-Very Fine): Patch shows moderate wear with light tarnishing on the bullion and discoloration on reverse.
