Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a World War II United States Army Air Force shoulder patch from the China-India-Burma theater. The patch is hand-embroidered with bullion thread. The patch is a badge shape and depicts a sun and a star on a field of blue above five vertical stripes.

VINTAGE:

Circa WWII.

SIZE:

3-7/16" height and 2-7/16" width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Felt and cotton patch with hand-embroidered bullion threading and muslin backing.

ITEM NOTES:

This is from a WWII United States Army Air Force shoulder patch collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAJL94 LFJX SEEX4/16

CONDITION:

8 (Excellent-):Hardly any tarnish on bullion and colors are hardly faded at all.
