ARTIFACT: Scarce WWII United States Army Air Forces 23rd Fighter Group, 14th Air Force DI, Type 23 A1. CBI Theater – made in China with enamel detail showing the Group's emblem, a winged tiger.

VINTAGE: Circa WWII.

SIZE: Approximately 1-8/16" in height x 1-3/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Enameled silvered brass.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical safety style pin.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a USAAF DI collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. CON-RLB-VEJX15 LFGEX10/15 SFGEX08/18/21

CONDITION: 7- (Very Fine-): The DI shows moderate wear, much of the enameled details remain bright and intact.
