ARTIFACT:
This is a rare United States Army 64th Engineer Topographical Battalion Operational Report unit history. The report covers the operational work performed by the 64th Engineer Topographical Battalion, the 64th Engineer Topographical Company Corps, the 1633rd Engineer Photomapping Platoon, and the Provisional Engineer Mapping Detachment from July 2, 1942 until September 2, 1945. The report includes unit histories, maps with corresponding mission breakdowns for each region, and inventories of expended supplies.
VINTAGE:
Circa September 1945 (just after World War II).
SIZE:
57 pages with black-and-white and color illustrations; approximately 10-1/2" in height and 8" in width.

Oaktag cover, paper.

CONDITION:
7+ (Very Fine+): The book has some small spots of light wear and discoloration/yellowing to the cover; no rips, stains or writing inside. One small smudge on "Northern Philippines" page (see photo).
