ARTIFACT: This is a rare DI for the United States Army 64th Engineer Topographic Battalion from World War II by Dondero. The DI shows a curious scribe figure writing with a quill pen upon the globe.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 1-3/16" in height and 1-1/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt brass, enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with come-under locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS: WASH. D.C. A.H. DONDERO INC.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months VCJX13 LABJX5/13

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The DI has some light wear; one enamel chip on the quill pen.

GUARANTEE: As with all my artifacts, this piece is guaranteed to be original, as described.
